Our goals are to allow customers to experience
llamas in various activities and settings. Additionally we strive to
provide quality llamas for breeding, sales, fiber production and
showmanship. Following are some of the
services we offer; some of which are in conjunction with 4-H:
Day hikes
Start by selecting one of the local Colorado state parks or National
Forest trailheads. Most all of these hikes can range from 2 hours to
all day and come with snacks/refreshments (for the 2 hour hike), to full
meals that are light but refreshing and full of energy. Up to 8 people can
be accommodated and we do only one hike at a time.
Birthday parties
Includes two llamas, a quick lesson about llamas, an obstacle course for
the children to lead the llamas, a picture of each child with one of the
llamas and a llama treat for the kids. Contact us for prices and
availability.
Llama luncheons
Have your next luncheon with a llama. Our llamas can go indoors
or out and are very well behaved and are a treat for everyone. We
can also provide the lunch. Up to 10 people (call us to
discuss other numbers of people and menu options).
Llama visits
Nursing homes, assisted living homes, schools (fundraisers, classroom
teaching, sports and other events), parades, county fairs. Let us know your needs!
A lot of times our children like to bring their llamas to events just for
fun and its also part of their activities in 4-H and FFA (Future Farmers
of America).
Special activities
We would be glad to discuss any special activity that you might have in
mind.
Breeding Services
We provide conformationally correct breeding studs and females.
Breedings that produce crias that meeting your expectations for fiber and
conformation is what we strive for. Check out our current stock here.
Fiber Production
We shear and harvest our own fiber from both our llamas and our angora
goats. This fiber comes in many different colors and grades and is
processed and ready for spinning and weaving or felting. Contact us
for current availability of fiber, both prepared and raw (right off the
animal).
Sales
We are always interested in acquiring new stock. And we will
always consider any serious offer for any of our animals to good homes.
Showmanship
We strive to raise conformationally correct animals that show well in
competitions and are easy to handle in showmanship, halter and performance
classes. Our children enjoy the competition and winning awards with
their llamas in local, regional and national events.
